AirBaltic will expand its winter schedule in October 2025 with new direct flights. The Latvian carrier will launch a Riga-to-Faro connection, offering travelers easy access to Portugal’s Algarve coast. Alongside this launch, AirBaltic will also strengthen its presence with flights to Gran Canaria, Ljubljana, and Madeira.
The airline continues to increase travel options during colder months by linking the Baltics with sought-after leisure hubs. Faro joins Lisbon, Porto, and Madeira as part of AirBaltic’s Portuguese network. The Algarve’s beaches and mild climate attract visitors all year, and this new service ensures travelers from Latvia and beyond can reach the region with ease.
AirBaltic will also expand services to other European cities. Flights to Amsterdam will rise to 19 per week from Riga, and additional connections will operate from Tallinn and Vilnius. More frequencies mean smoother access to Schiphol’s global links. Dubai will also feature prominently with daily departures from Riga and multiple weekly flights from Vilnius, giving travelers convenient access to the Middle East.
The airline will extend popular summer routes such as Pisa and Porto into November, keeping access to warm destinations alive beyond peak season. It will also boost flights to Egypt, with more services to Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada. These resorts remain favored winter escapes for European travelers.
Ski enthusiasts will also benefit. AirBaltic will operate flights to top winter sports centers, including Innsbruck, Salzburg, Geneva, Verona, and Kittilä. These routes ensure smooth access to Europe’s ski slopes, from the Alps to Scandinavia.
