As European air travel surges, airBaltic continues its upward trend with impressive April 2025 numbers. In fact, airBaltic carried over 410,000 passengers, which marked a 12% increase from April 2024. Moreover, the airline operated nearly 4,000 flights, achieving a 5% growth in flight operations.
Additionally, airBaltic improved its load factor by 1.7 points, reaching 77.8%, which signals better seat occupancy. Similarly, the airline delivered excellent performance in March 2025 with 378,000 passengers flown. Consequently, that month showed a 5% growth over March 2024, while flights rose 7%.
Throughout the first quarter of 2025, airBaltic transported almost one million passengers, breaking all previous records. Therefore, the airline’s operational strength continues to align with rising travel demand across its markets. Furthermore, this success set the tone for bold summer expansion.
To meet the growing interest, airBaltic has enhanced its summer schedule from March through October. In response, it increased flight frequencies on 14 existing routes across the Baltic region. As a result, travelers now enjoy greater convenience and flexibility during peak travel months.
Alongside that expansion, airBaltic introduced new nonstop routes from Tallinn to Reykjavík, Palma de Mallorca, and Tirana. Meanwhile, new services from Vilnius include flights to Prague, Düsseldorf, and Tirana, strengthening regional access.
Currently, airBaltic flies to almost 130 destinations from hubs in Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere, and Gran Canaria. Because of this vast network, travelers can easily connect to Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Therefore, airBaltic serves both tourists and business passengers with reliable and fast connections.
Importantly, the airline achieved a 99.6% punctuality rate in April, ensuring dependable travel experiences. Consequently, customers continue choosing airBaltic for its performance, comfort, and expanding network.
