Alaska Airlines strengthens its European network with new daily nonstop flights from Seattle to Rome and London. Starting April 28, 2026, travelers can enjoy seamless connections between the Pacific Northwest and two of Europe’s most vibrant cities. Consequently, these routes mark a significant milestone in Alaska Airlines’ ongoing transformation into a global carrier.
Initially, the airline planned four weekly flights to Rome. However, strong demand prompted daily service instead. Now, Alaska Airlines offers the only nonstop Seattle–Rome route, giving travelers unmatched comfort. Moreover, this modern aircraft delivers advanced technology, personalized entertainment, and exceptional onboard dining.
Roundtrip fares to Rome start at $599, offering an affordable gateway to Europe. Similarly, Alaska Airlines will launch daily flights to London Heathrow next spring, further enhancing Seattle’s global connectivity. As a result, both destinations attract strong traveler interest, reflecting growing demand for direct European routes.
Additionally, Alaska’s Atmos Rewards program brings more value to international travelers. Members earn one point and one status point per mile on flights to Rome and London. Later in 2026, travelers can choose how to earn rewards, tailoring benefits to their travel style. Furthermore, premium members enjoy lie-flat upgrades and access to enhanced amenities, redefining comfort in international travel.
Seattle continues to grow as Alaska Airlines’ global hub, connecting 109 destinations worldwide. By 2030, the airline plans to operate up to 17 Dreamliners across 12 intercontinental routes. With new services to Rome and London, Alaska Airlines establishes itself as a top choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience across Europe.
