Alaska Airlines is kicking off the year with an exciting expansion. The airline will introduce ten new domestic and international routes starting this January. These seasonal flights will connect several US cities to popular destinations, including beach spots like Puerto Vallarta.

Among the new additions, Alaska Airlines will launch multiple routes from Sacramento, California. These connections will link the city to major airports in Los Cabos, Tucson, Orlando, and Puerto Vallarta. The flight to Puerto Vallarta will start on January 11 and continue through mid-April, while the rest will end by April 21.

Additionally, Kansas City will see its first seasonal service to Puerto Vallarta, with flights beginning on January 25. This once-weekly route will run until early April, offering a convenient option for travelers from the Midwest.

Alongside its new offerings to Puerto Vallarta, Alaska Airlines will also introduce flights from Portland to New Orleans. Starting January 6, this daily route will run through mid-May, making it easier for travelers to access the vibrant city.

Other routes include seasonal flights between Boise and Orlando, which began in early January, and a new route from Kansas City to Cancun, starting January 18. These seasonal routes provide more direct connections to sunny destinations during the winter months.

Beyond these new services, Alaska Airlines plans further expansion in the summer. From June, the airline will operate seasonal flights from Anchorage to Detroit and Sacramento, providing more options for those seeking to visit Alaska’s scenic destinations. These flights will run through late summer, offering flexibility for travelers.
