Alaska Airlines Just Made Travel Easier — Seven Nonstop Flights You’ll Love

Alaska Airlines is boosting travel options by adding seven nonstop routes from Anchorage and Portland. Consequently, travelers can now reach more destinations in the Pacific Northwest, Mountain West, and Northeast. The airline plans to start these flights between March and June next year. Overall, the schedule blends seasonal and year-round services, improving both leisure travel and regional connectivity.

From Anchorage, Alaska Airlines introduces three new nonstop routes to Boise, Boston, and Spokane. Notably, Boise joins the network as a summer-only destination with twice-weekly flights. Meanwhile, Boston returns as a weekly summer service, and Spokane reconnects after nearly ten years. Furthermore, the airline increases frequency on existing routes to Sacramento and San Diego during the summer. Therefore, Anchorage travelers gain more nonstop options and convenient travel choices.

Portland also benefits from four new nonstop routes, further expanding its domestic reach. Daily flights to Bellingham start in March, connecting Oregon to northern Washington. In addition, Pasco receives two daily year-round flights from June, supporting frequent regional travel. Portland restores daily service to Everett, enhancing links to the Seattle area’s secondary airport. Moreover, seasonal summer flights between Portland and Jackson Hole cater to outdoor enthusiasts.

Alaska Airlines carefully balances seasonal demand with year-round needs. For example, Anchorage to Boston and Portland to Jackson Hole operate during peak summer months. Meanwhile, daily and year-round services to Pasco and Everett maintain consistent connectivity. As a result, travelers now enjoy flexible nonstop options, reducing layovers and saving time.

Additionally, the airline adjusts aircraft deployment to match travel demand. Portland-Fairbanks flights return next summer using larger Boeing 737 planes. Overall, these route expansions strengthen Alaska Airlines’ domestic network and deliver more direct options across the United States.
