Alaska Airlines is transforming its Mileage Plan program, offering travelers greater rewards and personalized benefits. The revamped loyalty program introduces customized perks, bonus miles, and upgraded travel experiences. Frequent flyers can now enjoy milestone rewards starting at just 10,000 elite-qualifying miles. These upgrades make earning elite status more rewarding and accessible.
The new program gives members more control over their travel benefits. They can now select rewards that fit their preferences, including extra miles, premium in-flight snacks, WiFi access, and complimentary lounge entry. Alaska Airlines also extends its elite privileges, ensuring a seamless and luxurious journey for its most loyal customers.
Credit cardholders now receive even more benefits. Travelers using the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® or Visa® Business credit card can check one bag for free, along with up to six companions on the same reservation when flying with Hawaiian Airlines. Meanwhile, primary holders of the Hawaiian Airlines® World Elite Mastercard® now qualify for two free checked bags on Alaska Airlines flights.
Starting April 24, top-tier Mileage Plan members will enjoy Extra Comfort seating when flying Hawaiian Airlines. This upgrade provides additional legroom, early boarding, and premium in-flight amenities. Later this summer, the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® companion fare will also be redeemable for flights on Hawaiian Airlines, enhancing travel flexibility.
