American Airlines Helps 24 Arizona Families Experience Disney Magic!

American Airlines is making dreams come true for 24 Arizona families. This April, they are flying children with critical illnesses to Walt Disney World Resort. To make the trip even more special, the journey begins with a celebration at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Here, families will enjoy a joyful send-off before boarding the flight.

The airline is not just providing a flight; instead, it is creating a magical experience. On board, families will enjoy an exciting celebration, delicious treats, and fun activity kits. Moreover, the excitement will continue when they land in Orlando. Supporters will be there to give them a warm welcome, making the moment even more unforgettable.

At Walt Disney World Resort, children will finally experience the magic they have long dreamed of. Since 1980, Make-A-Wish and Disney have granted over 165,000 wishes, offering hope and joy to families. Additionally, these families will stay at Give Kids The World Village, a nonprofit resort designed to create lasting memories for wish families.

Travel plays a crucial role in fulfilling these wishes. Each year, Make-A-Wish needs nearly three billion airline miles to make these dreams a reality. Fortunately, American Airlines supports this mission by donating a chartered aircraft for the Wish Flight. Furthermore, they contribute millions of AAdvantage® miles annually to ensure more children get their wishes granted.

The power of a wish extends far beyond travel. Not only does it bring joy, but it also improves morale and enhances well-being for children fighting critical illnesses. Every 20 minutes, a child in the U.S. receives a serious diagnosis. However, a granted wish can inspire strength, positivity, and even better health outcomes.

During World Wish Month, American Airlines is taking its support even further. This year, they are directing all donated AAdvantage® miles to Make-A-Wish, contributing up to 50 million miles. In addition, individuals and businesses can also make a difference by joining the WishMaker movement and helping to bring hope to children in need.

The Wish Flight on April 9 highlights the power of community. When people unite for a cause, they create life-changing moments. Most importantly, these children and their families will cherish this experience forever.
