American Airlines has reached a major milestone by expanding its service to all 50 states. Delaware is now part of its network, but instead of flights, it offers a bus service. By teaming up with The Landline Company, American Airlines provides a convenient connection between Wilmington Airport and Philadelphia International Airport.
The new bus service runs six times daily, making travel easy for passengers. The ride is quick, taking only 50 minutes to cover the 24.7 miles between the two airports. Customers don’t have to deal with security checks in Philadelphia, as these are handled in Wilmington. This allows for a direct entry into the terminal, just like an aircraft experience.
Onboard amenities make the journey comfortable. Passengers can enjoy WiFi, power outlets at each seat, and baggage handling similar to a flight. They can even earn AAdvantage miles, which adds more value to this service.
This addition comes as part of American Airlines’ strategy to improve connections across the U.S. Earlier this year, the airline added other bus routes to Philadelphia, enhancing accessibility. While air travel is limited in Delaware, this new bus route ensures passengers can easily connect to major flights.
American Airlines is the only airline serving every state in the U.S. With these new connections, they make travel even more convenient for customers. The airline is committed to expanding its network while providing quality service.
