On November 30th, pilots from American Airlines and Spirit Airlines saw strange lights over Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. They reported quick-moving, exceptionally bright objects above their aircraft. These objects appeared far above the 34,000-foot cruising altitude, sparking curiosity among flight crews.
Initially, American Airlines pilots on a route from Louisville to Dallas noticed the strange phenomenon first. They immediately informed air traffic control and described the odd sighting. The pilot of the American Airlines flight mentioned two lights moving erratically, shifting back and forth for over 30 minutes. Likewise, Spirit Airlines pilots reported similar sightings. They observed the lights for over an hour, located northwest of the airport.
Despite the reports, the lights didn’t appear on radar. Furthermore, air traffic control confirmed no aircraft were in the nearby military operation areas. The pilots then contacted the U.S. Air Force, who confirmed no military planes were in the air during the sightings. The objects’ brightness fluctuated, sometimes growing very bright and then dimming. Interestingly, their speed was astonishing, and they seemed independent of each other.
A TikTok video posted by a user on the ground corroborated the pilots’ reports. This event adds to a growing list of similar UFO sightings, where pilots report strange lights defying known flight patterns and speed. Consequently, the frequency of such sightings has sparked renewed interest in UFOs. This interest increased especially after a recent hearing on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), where officials discussed U.S. government research into UFOs and alien technology.
In the end, the sightings over Dallas raise more questions than answers. As investigations continue, the mystery of what the pilots saw remains unsolved.
