In Chicago, American Airlines will extend its Barcelona service until late October 2025. The airline will also launch direct flights from Chicago to Madrid and Naples in the spring and summer. These routes will expand the airline’s presence in Europe, catering to both leisure and business travelers.
Dallas/Fort Worth will also see more options with new routes to Venice and increased daily flights to London Heathrow. The airline will deploy Boeing 787-9 models for more capacity and efficiency on popular international routes. Los Angeles will continue to operate two daily flights to London Heathrow and switch to the Boeing 787-9 for flights to Tokyo Haneda.
American Airlines’ new flight schedule reflects its ongoing commitment to enhancing the passenger experience. By adjusting its offerings and improving aircraft efficiency, the airline ensures that travelers have more options and comfort for their international journeys. These strategic changes promise greater convenience, whether for business or leisure, across North America and Europe.
