American Airlines Takes You Further: New Global Routes for Winter 2025/26

American Airlines will expand its global network in the Northern Winter 2025/2026 season. As a result, travelers will have more international flight options between October 26, 2025, and March 28, 2026. This expansion not only improves connectivity but also strengthens the airline’s market position.

By March 2025, American Airlines will connect 356 destinations worldwide. Specifically, the network will include 227 U.S. cities and 129 international locations across 61 countries. Since demand for international travel keeps rising, the airline is focusing on meeting passenger needs.

Several major routes will see significant improvements. For instance, Miami to Buenos Aires will offer a fourth daily service starting December 18. Similarly, Dallas to São Paulo flights will increase from seven to ten per week beginning December 3. Moreover, the airline will extend its Dallas-to-Dublin route through early January 2026, ensuring more transatlantic travel options during the holiday season.

In addition, other key routes will undergo changes. The daily Boeing 787-8 service between Dallas and Kona will return on November 20. Previously, American Airlines had planned this relaunch for December 2024. Furthermore, Los Angeles to Auckland flights will upgrade to the larger Boeing 777-200ER on December 3, offering greater capacity. Meanwhile, the seasonal Philadelphia-to-Athens service will now continue until November 18, allowing travelers more time to explore Greece.

Looking ahead, American Airlines will also expand its transatlantic operations in the summer of 2025. As a result, the airline will operate over 70 daily flights from the U.S. to major European cities. Consequently, passengers will enjoy improved connectivity and more travel choices.

Overall, American Airlines remains committed to investing in long-haul travel. Given the growing demand, the airline continues to enhance convenience and efficiency for global travelers.
