Austin Takes Off: Delta’s New Routes Redefine Where You Can Go — and How Often

Delta Air Lines will boost connectivity at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport this fall. The airline plans new nonstop routes and more frequent flights, giving travelers more choices than ever before.

The expansion begins in November 2025 with new direct flights to Columbus, Denver, and Kansas City. These destinations will improve access for both business and leisure trips. Delta uses SkyWest-operated Embraer 175 jets for these routes, ensuring comfort with three seating options.

Delta will also add flights on two busy routes. It will offer two daily trips to San Francisco starting April 2026. The airline will also increase flights to Indianapolis, raising service from one to three daily trips. These additions help travelers schedule trips more easily without long layovers.

This move shows Delta Air Lines’ focus on Austin as a growing hub. The city attracts tech firms, startups, and tourists, creating rising demand for air travel. These changes ensure easier access to top destinations while supporting Austin’s position as a business and leisure hotspot.

The Embraer 175 aircraft on these routes delivers comfort and reliability. Passengers can choose First Class, Delta Comfort, or Main Cabin seating to match their preferences. With these options, travelers enjoy flexibility and convenience during every trip.

Delta Air Lines continues to invest in Austin’s future. The added routes and increased service enhance connectivity and reduce travel stress. More nonstop options mean faster trips and better flexibility for work or vacations. Austin travelers can now reach key U.S. cities with greater ease.
