Avianca is transforming air travel with a major upgrade to its business class. Beginning September 15, 2025, the airline will expand this cabin to 40 more routes. As a result, over 80 Avianca routes will now offer the luxurious new experience. Moreover, this move strengthens Avianca’s strategy to modernize its fleet and improve customer satisfaction.
Initially, Avianca launched this cabin in mid-2024 on a few Bogotá-based flights. Later that year, the airline quickly extended the service to 23 additional routes. Now, it is adding destinations across North, Central, and South America. Therefore, passengers on flights between Bogotá and cities like Dallas, Cancun, and Havana can now expect premium comfort.
Furthermore, Avianca is expanding the upgrade from Medellín and San Salvador. These additions include popular routes to Miami, Toronto, and Panama City. As a result, both business and leisure travelers will benefit from the enhanced offering.
The redesigned cabin includes wider seats, added privacy, refined dining, and elevated service. Consequently, Avianca delivers a balanced blend of luxury and practicality. Each element has been crafted to meet the needs of modern travelers who value both comfort and efficiency.
Additionally, this move reflects Avianca’s broader vision to redefine regional air travel. The airline continues to invest in service innovation and passenger satisfaction. Meanwhile, more routes will adopt the cabin, setting a new benchmark in regional travel.
In fact, Avianca is doing more than upgrading interiors—it is changing how passengers experience the skies. This business class revamp proves that luxury and accessibility can go hand in hand.
