Azerbaijan Airlines Crash: Black Box Analysis Starts to Uncover the Truth in Brazil

Brazilian investigators have started analyzing the black boxes of the Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer E190 involved in a tragic crash. This development follows the crash of flight J28243, which killed 38 people near Aktau, Kazakhstan, after it diverted from Grozny. The aircraft had been struck by fire from Russian air defense systems.

The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) now reviews the flight data from the black boxes at CENIPA. Kazakhstan’s authorities will ultimately issue the final report on the crash, following international aviation guidelines. Investigators have not yet set a timeline for the results.

Azerbaijan’s president demands Russia take responsibility for the crash. He believes the aircraft was hit by Russian air defense fire near Grozny. Following the incident, the president asked Russia for an apology and compensation for the victims and the country. Russia’s president expressed regret over the tragedy but did not admit to involvement in the downing of the plane. He called it a “tragic incident” but avoided accepting responsibility.

The fuselage of the Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer E190 had several holes, which refuted initial claims of a bird strike. The Azerbaijani president criticized Russia’s theories and accused them of trying to cover up the true cause of the crash. As investigators continue their work, the black box analysis will reveal more information.
