The Cathay Group is set to revolutionize travel between Hong Kong and Mainland China in the summer of 2025. With nearly 300 weekly return flights, the airline will increase connectivity by 40% compared to last year. As a result, Hong Kong will strengthen its role as a major global aviation hub. Furthermore, key regions like Beijing, Shanghai, and other major Chinese cities will benefit from increased flights. For instance, Beijing will have 56 weekly return flights, while Shanghai will enjoy 67. In addition, cities such as Zhengzhou, Ningbo, and Hangzhou will experience higher frequencies. These enhancements will meet the rising demand for business and leisure travel, ensuring passengers have greater flexibility.

Meanwhile, the airline is launching direct flights to Urumqi, significantly improving connectivity to China’s northwest.
