Investigations revealed that an unfortunate mix of sodium hypochlorite and sulfuric acid led to the hazardous situation.
Airborne footage captured the chaotic scene, showcasing multiple ambulances on standby to assist the affected individuals. A total of 16 employees and contractors were swiftly taken to the hospital for medical attention, although some were merely undergoing precautionary measures. Despite the momentary disruption, the lodge’s operations remained unscathed, ensuring a safe environment for visitors. Collaborative efforts between an environmental firm, Great Wolf Lodge, and the contractor aimed to rectify the chemical spillage efficiently.
