Condor Expands Summer Routes with Exciting U.S. Comeback

Condor makes a bold return to key U.S. destinations this summer. The German leisure airline revives several routes after a strategic shift earlier this year. The decision follows changes in its partnership with Lufthansa, which previously provided feeder traffic to its long-haul network. Without Lufthansa’s support, Condor restructured its approach. Now, with an expanded European network, the airline serves American and Canadian travelers with a renewed focus.

The airline operates long-haul flights with its modern Airbus A330neo fleet. These aircraft offer 310 seats, including a spacious economy class. The summer schedule includes major U.S. cities such as New York, Boston, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Las Vegas, and Anchorage. In Canada, daily flights connect passengers to Toronto and Vancouver. Calgary receives flights three times per week.

Condor’s winter schedule featured flights to select destinations at lower frequencies. This summer, the airline increases its capacity to popular North American markets. Some cities, including Baltimore, Minneapolis, Phoenix, San Antonio, Edmonton, and Halifax, no longer appear in the schedule. As a result, overall capacity drops by 14% compared to last summer. However, flights to Calgary, Miami, and Boston receive a significant boost.

Lufthansa once provided essential feeder traffic for Condor’s transatlantic routes due to a regulatory agreement. However, Lufthansa ended this arrangement in December 2024. Condor responded by creating its own European feeder network. The airline now operates connecting flights from key European hubs, including Milan, Paris, Zurich, Vienna, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, and Prague.

Condor adapts its network to strengthen its transatlantic position. The airline attracts budget-conscious travelers seeking affordable flights with great comfort. With this expanded summer schedule, Condor ensures seamless connections between Europe and North America.
