Condor is making travel across Germany more convenient and sustainable. The airline has resumed flights from Frankfurt to Berlin and Hamburg while strengthening its partnership with Deutsche Bahn. This expansion offers seamless air and rail connections, enhancing mobility for passengers nationwide.
Starting March 20, 2025, Condor has improved its integration with Deutsche Bahn. Travelers booking international flights can now add rail connections from 21 cities across Germany. This service includes reserved seating at no extra cost, smooth transfers between train and plane, and exclusive lounge access for Business Class passengers at DB stations.
By combining air and rail travel, Condor is reducing its environmental impact. Deutsche Bahn’s long-distance routes run entirely on renewable energy, aligning with Condor’s sustainability goals. Cities like Munich, Cologne, and Düsseldorf now have better access to Frankfurt Airport. Additionally, a new link from Dresden to Berlin Brandenburg Airport makes flights to global destinations more accessible.
Condor officially returned to Germany’s domestic aviation market on March 1, 2025. The airline launched flights from Frankfurt to Berlin and Hamburg, catering to business and leisure travelers alike. The first flight, DE409, departed for Berlin at 10:30 AM, followed by DE4179 to Hamburg at 10:45 AM.
To support eco-friendly travel, Condor has introduced fuel-efficient aircraft. The Airbus A320neo and A321neo burn 20% less fuel, thanks to advanced Pratt & Whitney engines. The airline is also investing in Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to further reduce carbon emissions. This initiative strengthens Condor’s commitment to responsible aviation while ensuring passengers enjoy modern, efficient travel.
