Delta continues to expand its network by adding new flights between Austin–Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and Jacksonville International Airport (JAX). Starting May 9, 2025, Delta will operate daily flights on this route, enhancing connectivity between these two cities. As a result, travelers will have more convenient options to travel between Texas and Florida.
The eastbound flight, DL3772, will depart from Austin at 8:55 AM and arrive in Jacksonville at 12:35 PM. Likewise, the return flight from Jacksonville will leave at 1:15 PM and land in Austin at 3:00 PM. To serve this route, Delta will use its Embraer E175 aircraft, which accommodates 76 passengers across two classes. This aircraft is equipped with Wi-Fi, in-seat USB ports, and power outlets, allowing passengers to stay connected throughout their journey.
Initially, Delta will offer approximately 3,800 seats in May, and this will increase to 4,560 seats by June. Moreover, this makes Delta the only airline operating this route. With this expansion, Delta demonstrates its commitment to meeting growing demand and providing better connectivity across the U.S. The airline will operate one daily flight in each direction, serving both business and leisure travelers alike.
Additionally, Delta is increasing capacity on other popular routes from Austin. For instance, starting June 8, the airline will add an extra daily flight to Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). As a result, the number of daily flights between Austin and Atlanta will rise to 10. This move is part of Delta’s strategy to enhance its operations in Austin, offering more options for travelers connecting through major hubs.
Furthermore, Delta is making adjustments to its flights to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). Beginning June 8, Delta will exclusively deploy its larger A220-300 aircraft on this route, replacing the smaller A220-100. This change allows Delta to meet increasing demand and provide passengers with more comfort and better services.
