Delta Air Lines Boosts Winter Travel with New Cancun Route

Delta Air Lines enhances its winter 2025 offerings with a new nonstop flight from Kansas City International Airport to Cancun. This new route is part of Delta’s largest-ever flight schedule to Latin America and the Caribbean. Along with Cancun, passengers can now fly nonstop to St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada, offering more ways to escape the cold and enjoy tropical destinations.

Starting December 20, Kansas City passengers will fly nonstop to Cancun every Saturday through April 12, 2026. Delta operates this route by providing a flight with multiple seating options: first class, Delta Comfort+, and the main cabin.

The new service adds to other seasonal Cancun flights from airlines like Alaska and American Airlines. Southwest Airlines also provides year-round service from Kansas City to Cancun, offering more flexibility. With this new nonstop route, Kansas City International Airport (KCI) strengthens its position as a key hub for Caribbean and Latin American travel.

As Delta Air Lines expands its network, travelers from Kansas City gain better access to popular Mexican beach destinations. More direct flights make it easier than ever to visit Cancun’s famous resorts and vibrant coastal experiences.
