Delta Air Lines is bringing a taste of Shake Shack to the skies. First-class passengers on select flights from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) can now pre-order a Shake Shack cheeseburger meal. Moreover, this offering is also available on flights departing from Boston, Atlanta, Seattle, and New York LaGuardia.
Initially, Delta Air Lines tested this collaboration in December 2024 on flights from Boston. As a result, the airline served over 10,000 burgers during the first few months. Due to overwhelming positive feedback, the airline decided to expand the service. By integrating well-known brands into its in-flight menu, Delta is redefining premium air travel.
Passengers can enjoy Shake Shack’s signature Angus beef cheeseburger, which comes on a toasted potato bun. Additionally, they can customize their meal with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce. Furthermore, the meal includes a Caesar salad, dark chocolate brownie, and chips, making it a satisfying choice for both lunch and dinner.
Delta Air Lines continues to enhance its onboard dining experience by offering meals that passengers recognize and enjoy. Not only does the airline focus on quality ingredients, but it also ensures excellent presentation. Therefore, by expanding this partnership throughout 2025, Delta aims to strengthen its position as a leader in premium air travel.
Beyond this, the Shake Shack collaboration is just one of Delta’s many brand partnerships. The airline integrates popular brands into its services to enhance customer loyalty. For instance, SkyMiles members who link their Delta and Uber accounts can claim a buy-one-get-one-free Shake Shack burger deal through Uber Eats. Consequently, this approach blends travel perks with everyday spending habits.
In addition to this partnership, Delta is expanding its premium cabin menu with new culinary collaborations. For example, passengers on select flights across the West and Southwest can now enjoy Jon & Vinny’s braised meatballs. Similarly, the airline offers these meals on flights from key hubs like Minneapolis and Seattle. With these partnerships, Delta continues to elevate its in-flight experience.
