Qatar Airways launched special flights to Dhaka after Middle East airspace closures disrupted travel. Therefore, Qatar Airways created urgent travel options for stranded passengers. Moreover, severe regional tensions forced several countries to close important aviation routes.

Since February 28, authorities across Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, and Jordan restricted airspace access. Therefore, Qatar Airways arranged two special flights connecting Doha and Dhaka on March 13 and 15.
