Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) and the Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) have partnered to improve travel in Baku. This collaboration not only attracts visitors but also offers deals that make exploring the city affordable.
From September 29 to December 29, travelers can easily enjoy a fantastic deal in Baku. By presenting your AZAL boarding pass within 48 hours of arrival, you can receive a 20% discount on Baku City Tour Bus tickets. Thus, this initiative demonstrates both organizations’ commitment to making travel easier while promoting Baku as a vibrant destination.
Moreover, AZAL connects Baku with over 50 global destinations, ensuring a seamless journey for passengers. On Tourism Day, AZAL even offered complimentary rides on the Baku City Tour Bus, which highlights its dedication to enhancing tourism.
The Baku City Tour Bus operates daily from 11:20 a.m. to 4:40 p.m., and it travels a scenic 25-kilometer route in about 1.5 hours. Additionally, the service includes an audio guide in eight languages: Azerbaijani, Russian, English, German, French, Farsi, Italian, and Japanese. Passengers also receive free headphones with each ticket, allowing them to immerse themselves in Baku’s attractions.
Furthermore, the bus stops briefly at 15 key locations for two to three minutes. These stops provide excellent opportunities for photos and exploration. Visitors can hop off at popular sites like the Heydar Aliyev Center and Flame Towers, and they can catch the next bus an hour later.
This initiative effectively combines air travel perks with local transportation, enabling visitors to explore Baku’s rich heritage and modern attractions. From the historic Old City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to lively shopping areas, Baku invites travelers to discover its unique cultural blend.
By partnering with ATB, Azerbaijan Airlines clearly shows its commitment to making travel to Baku enjoyable.
