Discover JetBlue’s Most Popular Caribbean Routes This Month!

JetBlue continues to dominate Caribbean air travel, with thousands of flights each month. Moreover, the airline connects the Caribbean from East Coast destinations, including New York. JetBlue also offers unique services like Mint, featuring lie-flat seats, which sets it apart from competitors. As demand in the region rises, JetBlue holds a competitive edge.

In the fiscal year ending 2023, US airlines expanded their Caribbean capacity by nearly one million seats. Furthermore, this surge comes as demand in other regions has leveled off following the pandemic. Even though JetBlue has cut some routes to reduce costs, it remains a dominant player in Caribbean markets.

This month, JetBlue focuses on its five most-served Caribbean routes:

First, the Orlando to San Juan route leads with 359 flights. According to aviation data, JetBlue schedules nearly 360 flights between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU). Covering about 1,189 miles, JetBlue offers approximately 59,000 seats, deploying Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft.

Next, the New York to Santiago route ranks second with 322 flights. This route spans an average of 1,470 miles between John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Cibao International Airport (STI). Notably, JetBlue offers over 28,400 seats each way, utilizing both A320s and non-Mint A321s.

The third route, New York to San Juan, has 297 flights. Covering approximately 1,597 miles, JetBlue provides over 26,700 seats in both directions. Additionally, the airline operates a combination of A320s and A321s, including Mint-equipped aircraft.

Fourth, JetBlue operates 268 flights between New York and Santo Domingo, spanning about 1,549 miles. The airline offers nearly 50,000 seats on this route, with a mix of A320 and A321 aircraft.

Lastly, JetBlue services the Fort Lauderdale to San Juan route with 239 flights. At 1,046 miles, it is the shortest among the top five. Despite this, JetBlue dominates the market share, competing with Frontier, Spirit, and Southwest.

Overall, JetBlue maintains a significant presence in the Caribbean, showcasing its strength through these top routes. Lastly, don’t forget to check WentWorld.com and follow our social media channels for ultimate travel tips and destination guides.
