Discover New Destinations: easyJet Expands Across UK Airports

easyJet expands its UK operations, focusing on Birmingham, Edinburgh, and Liverpool airports for summer 2025. The airline plans to meet rising passenger demand and support UK tourism.

At Birmingham Airport (BHX), easyJet adds two Airbus A320 aircraft, increasing its fleet to five. This follows easyJet’s base launch at BHX in March 2024, showing its commitment to growth at this airport.

Edinburgh Airport (EDI) will grow further. easyJet will deploy a 10th Airbus A320, enhancing its service capacity. The airline will launch a new route to Zurich, running twice weekly starting in summer 2025. Other routes will connect Edinburgh to Dusseldorf, Germany; Enfidha, Tunisia; Marrakech, Morocco; and Olbia, Italy. These new flights will offer more international destinations for travelers from Edinburgh.

easyJet also increases its presence at Liverpool Airport (LPL). The airline will station an eighth aircraft at LPL, following the addition of a seventh Airbus A320 for the 2024-25 winter season. The growth comes after an 18% year-on-year increase in passenger traffic at LPL in 2024, indicating rising demand for easyJet flights.

easyJet’s expansions at Birmingham, Edinburgh, and Liverpool airports aim to meet growing demand. With more aircraft and new routes, the airline strengthens its position in the UK aviation market ahead of summer 2025.
