Starting in May, British Airways will introduce Birchall as its new global tea partner. This change will enhance the travel experience for passengers worldwide. Birchall replaces Twinings after years of collaboration. It will bring high-quality, award-winning tea blends to the airline’s long-haul flights and airport lounges. This move offers passengers a refined and diverse range of teas, ensuring a premium tea-drinking experience.
British Airways will roll out Birchall teas starting with long-haul flights on May 1. Club Europe passengers will see the change in June. Euro Traveller customers can enjoy Birchall teas at the High Life Café in July. The tea selection will be available across all British Airways lounges globally. World Traveller and World Traveller Plus passengers will enjoy Birchall’s English Breakfast and Decaffeinated Tea. Club Europe, Club World, and First Class passengers will have access to a broader range, including Earl Grey, Camomile, Green Tea, and Peppermint.
British Airways chose Birchall for its reputation in delivering premium tea blends. Birchall’s Great Rift English Breakfast earned Great Taste Awards for 14 consecutive years. First Class, Club Europe, and Concorde Room guests will get exclusive access to this tea. They will also enjoy premium options such as Virunga Earl Grey and Mao Feng Green Tea.
As Birchall becomes the official tea supplier, British Airways reaffirms its commitment to providing an exceptional in-flight experience. This partnership strengthens the airline’s focus on customer satisfaction through high-quality service and premium offerings.
