easyJet is gearing up for another record-breaking summer, flying passengers to stunning destinations across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The airline, which started operations in 1995, has grown into one of the most recognizable low-cost carriers in the world. With a fleet of over 180 Airbus aircraft, easyJet will connect travelers to popular vacation spots, including Cape Verde, Egypt, Israel, and Turkey.
This summer, easyJet will operate some of its longest nonstop flights. Several routes stretch beyond 2,100 nautical miles, with the longest reaching 2,400 nautical miles. Flights to Egypt dominate the list, proving the country’s appeal among European travelers. The airline’s longest service will link Belfast and Hurghada, covering an impressive distance. The Glasgow-to-Hurghada route follows closely, offering another convenient option for travelers seeking Red Sea adventures.
Other major routes include flights from London Gatwick to Sal Island in Cape Verde. This destination is easyJet’s only non-Egyptian entry on the list and has been gaining popularity. Travelers from Manchester, Liverpool, and Birmingham will also have access to direct flights to Egypt’s top coastal cities, including Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada. Many of these routes will operate with multiple weekly frequencies, ensuring flexibility for passengers planning summer getaways.
easyJet’s expansion reflects growing demand for affordable travel to sun-soaked destinations. The airline continues to strengthen its network, adding more flights from key UK and European hubs. With summer approaching, easyJet is set to transport millions of passengers, making international travel more accessible than ever.
