Emirates Doubles Down on Lyonnais — Deal Locked Till 2030

Emirates strengthens its ties with France by extending its Olympique Lyonnais partnership. The global airline signed a five-year extension as the football club’s shirt sponsor. This new deal keeps Emirates branding on the club’s kits until the 2029–2030 season.

Emirates expands its role in French sports through this strategic partnership. The airline places its “Fly Better” logo on Olympique Lyonnais shirts during Ligue 1 and European matches. It gains stadium exposure, hospitality perks, and greater fan engagement through advertising and digital channels.

The airline also supports young fans through unique matchday experiences. Emirates teams up with Lyon-based groups to offer pre-match walks with players. Last year, over 23 kids joined their football heroes on the field, creating joyful memories.

Emirates launched direct flights from Lyon to the UAE in 2012. It now runs daily Boeing 777 flights from Lyon and plans to introduce Airbus A350s in June 2025. These routes help Lyon connect with over 140 destinations in Emirates’ global network.

French passengers benefit from Emirates’ service excellence. The airline offers 21 flights weekly to Paris, including three A380 flights daily. It also operates a daily A380 service to Nice. Travelers enjoy gourmet meals, multilingual crews, and an advanced entertainment system. The platform includes 6,500 channels, many in French.

Emirates combines travel, sports, and community to create lasting connections in France. The renewed deal with Olympique Lyonnais boosts the brand’s presence on and off the field.
