The Emirates Group has reached a record-breaking profit of AED 22.7 billion (US$ 6.2 billion) for the 2024-25 fiscal year. This performance highlights the group’s growth and solidifies its position as a global leader in aviation. Both Emirates (EK) and dnata contributed to this milestone, showcasing the group’s strategic expansion and operational efficiency.
Emirates Group’s strong performance stems from operational excellence and innovation. Emirates, the group’s flagship airline, posted a remarkable AED 21.2 billion (US$ 5.8 billion) in profits, while dnata added AED 1.6 billion (US$ 430 million). This success came despite global currency fluctuations, underlining the group’s resilience.
The group saw growth in several key areas. Emirates carried 53.7 million passengers, up by 3%. The airline expanded its capacity by 4% to meet growing demand. Emirates SkyCargo grew its cargo volumes by 7%, further boosting revenue. Additionally, the group invested US$ 5.0 billion to upgrade 219 aircraft in its fleet.
Looking ahead, Emirates Group remains focused on innovation and sustainability. It introduced Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) at major airports and continues to enhance its global infrastructure. With a strong financial foundation and a focus on customer experience, the group is poised to maintain its dominance in the aviation industry.
