Singapore Airlines and American Express have launched new benefits for their business credit card, making travel more rewarding for SMEs. Starting April 23, 2025, businesses will gain access to higher reward conversions, quicker elite status, and greater value on travel spending. As a result, corporate travelers can maximize their rewards while reducing expenses.
One of the biggest improvements is the increased limit on HighFlyer points conversion to KrisFlyer miles. Previously, businesses could convert only 100,000 miles, but now, they can convert up to 150,000 miles. Therefore, SMEs can accumulate more miles and enjoy greater flexibility when booking flights with Singapore Airlines.
Moreover, achieving KrisFlyer Elite Gold status has become easier. Instead of requiring 125,000 HighFlyer points, businesses can now redeem just 100,000 points. Consequently, corporate travelers gain priority check-in, extra baggage allowance, and lounge access much faster, making their journeys more comfortable.
In addition, new members of the HighFlyer program receive an instant boost. After booking their first flight, they earn a 10,000-point welcome bonus. Furthermore, companies that spend at least S$15,000 on eligible flights with Singapore Airlines and Scoot in their first year qualify for an accelerated KrisFlyer Elite Gold status for one corporate traveler. These perks encourage SMEs to choose Singapore Airlines for their business trips.
Besides these rewards, cardholders can earn up to 8 HighFlyer points per S$1 spent on flights. Plus, they receive a special renewal bonus of 6,000 points, adding even more value. Additionally, the card continues to offer 0% interest on installment payments, an Accor Plus membership, and discounts on car rentals.
Overall, these enhancements make corporate travel more affordable and rewarding. Since SMEs can now save more, earn rewards faster, and enjoy premium services, Singapore Airlines strengthens its position as a top choice for business travelers.
