Etihad Airways strengthens its global network by adding a new route to Peshawar, Pakistan. Starting on September 29, 2025, this flight will link Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport (AUH) with Bacha Khan International Airport (PEW) in Peshawar. This new addition boosts the airline’s presence in both the Middle Eastern and South Asian markets.
Peshawar is a city rich in cultural and historical significance. It attracts both business and leisure travelers. The route marks Etihad Airways’ fourth direct connection to Pakistan. It joins flights to Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore. By launching this service, Etihad offers more options for travelers connecting between the UAE and Pakistan.
Initially, the flights will run five times a week. Etihad will begin daily services on November 22, 2025. This expansion follows other recent additions to Etihad’s network, including routes to Addis Ababa, Prague, and Warsaw.
With this new route, Etihad Airways solidifies its position as a key player in connecting the UAE with South Asia and beyond. The service boosts trade, tourism, and cultural exchange.
