EVA Air celebrated a decade of nonstop flights between Houston and Taipei with an exciting event at the Houston Zoo. Moreover, EVA Air began this route ten years ago with only three flights each week. Now, it flies daily, helping travelers reach Taipei and many Asian cities. As a result, EVA Air boosts Houston’s role as a top global hub. Passengers easily connect to Asia through EVA Air’s strong network.
Meanwhile, the celebration brought together local officials and zoo leaders. In addition, EVA Air announced new initiatives to deepen community ties. The airline also signed an agreement with Houston Zoo to send a male bongo antelope to Taipei Zoo. Therefore, this move shows a shared dedication to wildlife conservation. EVA Air will carefully manage the animal’s journey and bring new energy to Taipei Zoo’s herd.
Furthermore, two artists from Houston and Taiwan unveiled a huge mural at the event. They combined both cities’ spirit in a stunning piece that symbolizes EVA Air’s bridge between the U.S. and Taiwan. Later this year, these artists will travel to Taipei to create another large mural at Taipei Zoo. Consequently, these creative projects strengthen cultural ties between the cities.
Besides these announcements, EVA Air launched a campaign called “Taipei! Your Next Adventure.” The airline warmly invites Houston travelers to explore Taipei’s lively food, arts, and city scenes. Additionally, EVA Air recently earned the SKYTRAX 5-Star Airlines award for the tenth year straight. This honor highlights EVA Air’s top service and strong North American presence.
Looking ahead, EVA Air plans to expand further in North America. In October, it will start flights from Taipei to Dallas. As a result, travelers gain more options across the U.S. and Asia. EVA Air continues to grow, build new connections, and offer first-class service every day.
