Delta Air Lines has announced an exciting expansion for its Boston hub, enhancing travel options for passengers seeking sunny destinations next spring. This initiative focuses on leisure travel during the busy spring break and Patriot’s Day holiday periods in 2025. As part of this expansion, Delta Air Lines will introduce two new seasonal routes and increase services on 13 additional routes from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).
Notably, Delta’s new routes include Myrtle Beach (MYR) and Pensacola (PNS), which will operate exclusively on weekends. Moreover, the airline plans to upgrade its aircraft on certain routes during peak travel times, such as Christmas and Spring Break. This move reflects Delta Air Lines’ commitment to providing exceptional service and meeting the growing travel demand.
In total, Delta Air Lines will operate 65 additional weekly flights from Boston during the key travel periods. Most of these increased services will run from April 19 to April 27, 2025. Additionally, some routes, including those to Sarasota (SRQ), will start earlier, in December 2024, and continue until May 2025.
Travelers will benefit from enhanced frequency on several popular routes. For instance, flights from Boston to Orlando (MCO) will increase from four to five daily flights. Similarly, Fort Lauderdale (FLL) will see an increase from three to four daily flights. Other routes, such as Southwest Florida (RSW) and Tampa (TPA), will also enjoy more frequent service.
Furthermore, Delta Air Lines is expanding its offerings to include new destinations like Bozeman (BZN) during the ski and summer seasons, as well as Asheville (AVL) next summer. These changes not only improve travel options but also highlight Delta’s strategic focus on leisure destinations.
Overall, this network expansion from Delta Air Lines represents a significant commitment to enhancing travel options for passengers in Boston. With new routes, increased services, and aircraft upgrades, travelers can look forward to a more convenient and enjoyable travel experience.
