Air Serbia teams up with China Southern Airlines, enhancing global travel through a strategic codeshare partnership. This collaboration strengthens connectivity between Asia and Europe, providing seamless travel options for passengers.

The partnership allows Air Serbia to place its ‘JU’ code on China Southern’s flights between Guangzhou and Belgrade. This move connects passengers to 20 key destinations, including Sydney, Melbourne, and Bangkok. In return, China Southern adds its ‘CZ’ code to Air Serbia’s routes, covering the nonstop Belgrade-Guangzhou and Belgrade-Shanghai services.

This agreement benefits travelers by offering access to 21 major European cities through Belgrade, with destinations like Berlin, Milan, and Zurich now more reachable for passengers from Southern China. The partnership not only improves connectivity but also enhances travel convenience.

Following a Memorandum of Understanding signed in September 2024, this deal goes beyond codeshare operations. The airlines will collaborate in areas such as joint cargo ventures, ground handling, maintenance services, and inflight catering. Additionally, premium passengers will enjoy reciprocal lounge access, further enhancing the travel experience.

By leveraging each other’s networks, Air Serbia and China Southern Airlines aim to offer unparalleled travel options, ensuring passengers experience smooth and convenient journeys across continents. This partnership marks a significant step in improving air travel links between Asia and Europe.
