Air France will introduce the Airbus A350 on its seasonal route from Paris to Cape Town in April. This marks a significant change, as the airline currently uses the Boeing 787. Starting on April 1st, the airline will operate the A350 until April 27th, with flights three times a week.
Moreover, Air France offers a unique service between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Cape Town International Airport. Currently, the airline holds a monopoly on this route. The flights depart on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, providing a direct connection between Europe and South Africa. Passengers will enjoy a daytime departure from Paris at 10:10, landing in Cape Town at 21:30. The return flight leaves Cape Town at 23:35 and arrives in Paris the next day at 11:00.
As a result, the switch from the Boeing 787 to the Airbus A350 means more capacity. The A350-900 seats 324 passengers, compared to the 279 seats on the 787-9. In addition, the A350 offers 34 business class seats, 24 premium economy seats, and 266 economy seats, ensuring more comfort for passengers.
Furthermore, Air France’s Airbus A350 provides new cabins, making it an exciting upgrade. The business class features a 1-2-1 layout, ensuring direct aisle access for every passenger. Meanwhile, premium economy offers reclining seats with more legroom and lumbar support. Additionally, economy class seats offer good comfort with a recline option and inflight entertainment for all passengers.
Ultimately, next April, Air France will offer a better flight experience on its Paris-Cape Town route with the A350. Passengers can expect more space, comfort, and luxury throughout the journey.
