Emirates is raising the bar for travel by expanding its Premium Economy service on more routes. Therefore, the airline will roll out this cabin class on flights to Amman, Mumbai, Muscat, and Bahrain. Additionally, Emirates aims to give passengers a luxurious experience without the cost of Business Class. Consequently, this expansion strengthens its position as a leader in premium travel.
Moreover, the airline will deploy Airbus A350s, refurbished Airbus A380s, and upgraded Boeing 777s on these routes. From late October, Emirates will also launch Premium Economy on daily flights to Amman and Mumbai. Specifically, the A380 will serve Amman, while a retrofitted Boeing 777 will fly to Mumbai. Furthermore, both aircraft will feature modern seats, spacious layouts, and advanced entertainment systems for travelers seeking extra comfort.
In addition, Muscat will receive the Airbus A350 starting 30 October, covering nine weekly flights. Therefore, passengers will enjoy quiet cabins and fuel-efficient technology on this new aircraft. Similarly, Emirates will enhance its Bahrain services from December with a refreshed Boeing 777, delivering a consistent Premium Economy experience on every flight.
As a result, this move is part of Emirates’ wider strategy to expand Premium Economy across its global network. By the end of 2025, the airline will also offer this cabin in 68 cities and more than two million seats annually. Furthermore, Emirates continues to invest heavily in fleet upgrades through its large-scale retrofit program. So far, the airline has already refurbished 67 aircraft, including A380s and Boeing 777s, to meet the rising demand for high-quality travel.
