Allegiant Air has launched its first-ever nonstop flight between Cincinnati and Melbourne, Florida. This new route connects travelers to the Sunshine State, providing easy access to popular Florida destinations. Starting November 15th, the airline will operate the service between Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) and Melbourne Orlando International Airport (MLB), running until February 10th. If demand remains strong, Allegiant may extend this service.
The inaugural flight departed on schedule at 3:55 PM EST from CVG, and it landed in Melbourne at 6:06 PM EST, covering 838 miles in just under two hours. Additionally, Allegiant used an Airbus A320-200 aircraft, which seats 186 passengers in an all-economy configuration. This flight will operate twice a week, on Fridays and Mondays. Furthermore, the flight’s timing allows passengers to explore Florida’s eastern coast, including Melbourne Beach and Cocoa Beach.
Allegiant Air has operated at CVG since 2014, establishing a strong presence. As a result, the airline now offers flights to 22 destinations from the airport, and this new route to Melbourne marks yet another milestone. While other budget carriers like Frontier Airlines and Breeze Airways also operate from CVG, Allegiant remains the primary competitor in this market.
As Allegiant Air continues to grow, passengers can look forward to more affordable travel options to Florida’s most beautiful destinations. So, book your next getaway with Allegiant Air for an unforgettable vacation experience.
