Philippine Airlines plans to strengthen its US West Coast network by adding more flights to Seattle. Starting November 25, 2025, the airline will increase Manila-Seattle flights from three to five each week. Therefore, Philippine Airlines shows a strong commitment to expanding its US market and offering better options for travelers.
As a result, passengers will enjoy more flexibility and seamless connections to many US cities. Moreover, Philippine Airlines works with Alaska Airlines to help travelers reach more destinations beyond Seattle. Thus, the airline creates a smoother travel experience for tourists and business passengers. With more flights, travelers will find it easier to book seats, especially during peak seasons.
Meanwhile, Philippine Airlines will operate these new flights using advanced Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. These planes hold up to 370 passengers and provide a premium, comfortable experience. Additionally, passengers will enjoy modern features and efficient service on every journey. In addition to better passenger service, Philippine Airlines plans to boost cargo capacity with these extra flights. Each week, up to 40 tons of extra cargo will move between the US and the Philippines. Consequently, this supports growing trade in electronics, apparel, and agriculture.
Furthermore, this Seattle expansion matches Philippine Airlines’ long-term goal to strengthen its US network. The airline already flies to New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu, and Guam. Therefore, by adding more flights to Seattle, Philippine Airlines can better serve Filipino expatriates, tourists, and business travelers. In turn, this move strengthens tourism and trade ties between the two nations.
Finally, Philippine Airlines continues to rebuild and grow after the pandemic. With more flights, modern aircraft, and strong partnerships, the airline leads cross-Pacific travel. Travelers can now explore more US cities and support growing business exchanges with ease.
