From December 15, 2025, Etihad Airways will operate 14 weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Nairobi. The airline resumes this route less than a year ago.
Etihad’s expansion reflects its growth in Africa. The airline recently added Addis Ababa to its network. This partnership with Ethiopian Airlines gives passengers more travel options between the Middle East and Africa.
Etihad Airways also partners with Air Seychelles to launch flights to Mahe, Seychelles, in May 2025. The new route will offer six weekly flights. This collaboration connects passengers to Mahe, Praslin, and Mauritius through extended Air Seychelles routes.
The airline is further strengthening its African network. On July 17, 2025, Etihad will begin flights to El Alamein, Egypt. New services to Tunis, Tunisia, will start on November 1, followed by flights to Algiers, Algeria, on November 7. These new destinations increase Etihad’s connectivity in the Middle East and North Africa.
Etihad Airways continues to grow its regional and global presence, offering more options for travelers and maintaining its status as a global airline leader.
