Nepal Airlines has launched direct flights from Kathmandu to Guangzhou, thereby strengthening links between Nepal and China. The first flight lifted off on September 27, after a short delay earlier that week. Consequently, the aircraft carried over 100 passengers to Guangzhou and returned to Kathmandu the following day. From now on, regular operations will run three times weekly, with flights scheduled on Saturdays, Sundays, and Tuesdays. Therefore, travelers gain reliable service connecting Kathmandu with one of China’s most dynamic cities.
Nepal Airlines has introduced competitive fares to attract travelers, and this approach ensures wider accessibility. The one-way ticket costs Rs 30,000, while the round-trip option costs Rs 50,000. Moreover, affordable pricing supports growing demand and encourages more Nepali passengers to select direct flights.
