Fly Through Delhi Faster: Air India Express Simplifies Travel with Its New Smart Service

India is overhauling its air travel infrastructure, starting with major upgrades at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. The country aims to improve efficiency, cut congestion, and enhance passenger convenience. As part of this push, Air India Express has introduced a new service and announced key operational changes to expand its network and strengthen connectivity across India.

The airline is shifting its domestic operations to the upgraded Terminal 1, while Air India moves part of its flights to Terminal 2. These changes will reduce overcrowding at Terminal 3 and create a smoother travel experience. To ensure seamless movement between terminals, inter-terminal shuttle services will run every ten minutes, helping passengers transfer quickly between flights. Travelers will also receive proactive updates about terminal changes, making transitions effortless.

At the same time, Air India Express is launching a new daily route between Indore and Goa, starting on October 26, 2025. The route will connect two of India’s most vibrant cities and cater to growing travel demand. Goa continues to attract domestic and international tourists, while Indore remains a fast-emerging aviation hub. This new connection will strengthen regional accessibility and promote tourism in both destinations.

The airline is also introducing refreshed branding and services to enhance the passenger experience. Its “Tales of India” campaign celebrates the nation’s cultural heritage through vibrant aircraft designs inspired by traditional crafts. Additionally, the airline’s ‘Xpress Holidays’ platform will offer curated packages combining flights, hotels, and experiences to simplify travel planning.

Through these upgrades, India is reshaping Delhi’s airport into a smarter travel hub while enabling faster connections nationwide. Air India Express continues to drive this transformation, combining innovation with convenience to redefine air travel in India.
