Flynas Expands with New Direct Flights to Egypt

Flynas is expanding its global network with new direct flights from Jeddah and Riyadh to El Alamein, Egypt. Starting July 1, travelers will have more convenient options to visit Egypt’s northern coast. As the leading low-cost airline in the region, Flynas continues to improve connectivity for passengers.

To enhance travel accessibility, Flynas will operate two weekly flights from Jeddah to El Alamein. This addition strengthens the airline’s presence in Egypt, complementing the existing Riyadh route. As a result, passengers now have increased flexibility when planning their trips. With these new connections, Flynas aims to provide seamless travel experiences.

Meanwhile, Flynas is also making significant progress in sustainability. Over the past four years, the airline successfully reduced carbon emissions by 625,152 tons. This achievement, equivalent to planting 25 million trees, highlights its commitment to environmental responsibility. Furthermore, Flynas played a key role in launching the region’s first voluntary carbon credit trading platform. By partnering with major organizations, the airline actively contributes to climate finance and sustainability goals.

At the same time, Flynas continues to modernize its fleet with advanced A320neo aircraft. These planes consume 25% less fuel and emit 21% fewer carbon emissions than older models. As a result, the airline now saves 13,024 tons of CO2 emissions each month, which equals planting 521,000 trees. Through these efforts, Flynas moves closer to achieving net-zero emissions by 2060.

Beyond environmental initiatives, Flynas also prioritizes inclusivity in air travel. The airline has trained flight attendants in sign language to assist passengers with hearing impairments. Additionally, Flynas supports medical travel by providing free flights for patients with autism and breast cancer. By taking these steps, the airline ensures a more inclusive travel experience for all passengers.

Flynas is also investing in environmental and community projects. Employees participated in tree-planting campaigns in Riyadh, with the company amplifying these efforts fivefold. Through digital tracking, participants can monitor their trees’ growth. Moreover, Flynas has partnered with recycling companies to reduce waste and promote sustainability.

In addition to these advancements, Flynas has enhanced its digital services. The airline recently launched a new mobile app with improved self-service options. Furthermore, its holiday booking platform now offers multi-language support, allowing travelers to book flights, hotels, and transportation in one place. These upgrades simplify the booking process, making travel planning more seamless than ever.
