Flynas has launched direct flights between Riyadh and Moscow, thereby strengthening travel between Saudi Arabia and Russia. Moreover, this route matches the airline’s expansion goals and supports Saudi Arabia’s tourism and aviation ambitions. Consequently, it opens doors for more tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between both countries.
The carrier began operating three direct flights weekly on August 1. Furthermore, this move makes Flynas the first airline to offer regular direct service between the two capitals. In addition, the launch forms part of the airline’s strategy to connect Saudi Arabia with more destinations worldwide. Therefore, it supports the Kingdom’s target of attracting millions of tourists by 2030.
Ceremonies took place at both Riyadh and Moscow airports to mark the route’s debut. As a result, travelers on the first flights enjoyed warm welcomes, gifts, and souvenirs. Likewise, the service offers greater convenience for business and leisure travelers. Hence, it enhances bilateral ties while promoting mutual economic growth.
By adding Moscow to its network, Flynas demonstrates its drive to expand internationally. Currently, the airline serves over 70 destinations across 30 countries. Additionally, it operates more than 2,000 flights each week. Since 2007, it has carried over 80 million passengers. Soon, Flynas plans to increase its network to 165 destinations.
This new route directly supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals. Furthermore, it aligns with the National Civil Aviation Strategy, which aims to link the Kingdom to 250 destinations. It also contributes to the Pilgrims Experience Program, thereby easing access to Mecca and Medina.
Passengers can book through the Flynas website, mobile app, call center, or travel agents. Thus, these options ensure easy access to affordable travel. Ultimately, as Flynas grows, travelers can expect more direct routes, better connectivity, and strong service standards.
