Garuda Indonesia has strengthened its global reach by renewing its codeshare agreement with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. This partnership enhances connectivity between Europe and Southeast Asia, offering travelers a smooth journey between Amsterdam and Jakarta.
The extended agreement will be in effect from May 11 to October 25, 2025. However, services will pause temporarily between July 7 and August 3 due to peak-season demand. This collaboration allows both airlines to optimize schedules and provide flexible travel options for passengers.
Under this agreement, Garuda Indonesia will offer its customers flights operated by KLM between Amsterdam and Jakarta, with a stop in Kuala Lumpur. The outbound journey will be available three times a week, while return flights will operate on different days, ensuring a well-balanced schedule for travelers.
Both airlines are members of the SkyTeam alliance, ensuring seamless connections, streamlined transfers, and shared loyalty benefits. This cooperation enables passengers to enjoy a consistent and high-quality experience across their entire journey.
To meet increasing demand, Garuda Indonesia has introduced a third weekly flight on this route. This expansion offers more choices for travelers seeking efficient transcontinental connections. The airline aims to strengthen its presence in Europe while making long-haul travel more convenient for passengers.
This renewed partnership reflects both airlines’ commitment to enhancing international connectivity and service excellence. By expanding their collaboration, they provide more travel options and a stronger global network, making trips between Europe and Indonesia smoother than ever before.
