Singapore Airlines is gearing up to meet increasing demand by expanding its flight schedules and enhancing passenger capacity across key routes. These changes will take effect from 30 March 2025, during the Northern Summer season, which runs until 25 October 2025. This expansion allows Singapore Airlines to serve popular destinations more frequently, giving passengers greater flexibility and options.
Increased Flights to London and Rome
Starting 30 March 2025, Singapore Airlines will increase its London (Gatwick) flights to a daily service, up from five times per week. Combined with the existing four daily flights to London (Heathrow), this brings the total number of daily services to London to five.
Flights to Rome will also see a boost, with services increasing to five times per week between 26 June 2025 and 28 August 2025. This marks an upgrade from the current four weekly flights, meeting the growing demand for travel to the Italian capital.
More Direct Flights to Barcelona and Milan
From 24 June 2025, Singapore Airlines will separate its Singapore-Milan-Barcelona route, offering more direct connections. Barcelona will benefit from five direct flights weekly, up from two. Milan will enjoy daily flights, up from four times a week, making travel between these cities more convenient.
Enhanced Services to Adelaide, Ho Chi Minh City, and Johannesburg
Adelaide services will rise to 10 flights weekly across both the Northern Winter 2024 and Northern Summer 2025 seasons, a significant increase from the current seven weekly flights. Ho Chi Minh City will be served thrice daily, up from 19 weekly flights, while Siem Reap will see double daily services, up from a single daily flight.
Additionally, Johannesburg will receive three extra flights per week between 11 December 2024 and 10 January 2025, and from 2 April 2025 to 24 October 2025, raising the total to 10 weekly services during these periods.
Aircraft Updates for Tokyo and India Routes
Singapore Airlines will bring back the Airbus A380 to Tokyo (Narita) between 30 March 2025 and 31 May 2025 on one of its two daily services. This replaces the Boeing 787-10 on this route. However, the A380 will cease operations in Mumbai and Delhi during certain periods in the summer of 2025, with the Boeing 777-300ER taking over.
Manchester Services Adjustment
From 1 April 2025, Singapore Airlines will suspend its Houston via Manchester services. Nonetheless, the airline will maintain five times weekly flights between Singapore and Manchester with the SQ302 and SQ301 services.
