IndiGo Expands Delhi Hub with Bold Global and Domestic Growth

IndiGo continues its aggressive expansion strategy by strengthening operations at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. Therefore, the airline unveiled new international routes and fresh domestic services, reinforcing Delhi as its largest hub. Consequently, IndiGo positions itself as a strong link between India and major global destinations through these network additions.

Moreover, the expansion includes new flights to Bali, Krabi, and Manchester. The Bali service begins on October 24, 2025, with daily connections. Meanwhile, Krabi flights start on October 26, 2025, operating four times a week. In addition, the Manchester service launches on November 15, 2025, marking IndiGo’s move into long-haul travel. Furthermore, the airline doubles its Delhi-Bangkok frequency from late October, boosting access to Southeast Asia.

At the same time, IndiGo strengthens its domestic footprint with more flights from Delhi to cities across India. These additions include enhanced connectivity to Gujarat, Bihar, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. In addition, a new service to Purnea in Bihar improves links between smaller cities and the capital. As a result, IndiGo highlights its strategy to connect Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets with its international network.

Furthermore, the airline aligns aircraft choice with route demand. The Manchester route uses Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, ensuring comfort for long-haul travelers. Meanwhile, flights to Bali and Krabi rely on Airbus A320 aircraft, while Delhi-Bangkok upgrades to Airbus A321 jets. Consequently, IndiGo emphasizes operational efficiency and enhanced travel experience across all these services.

Overall, this expansion cements Delhi as IndiGo’s central hub. The city now links 21 international and 74 domestic destinations through over 1,700 weekly departures. Thus, the new connections improve one-stop travel options between the United Kingdom, Southeast Asia, and Indian cities. Therefore, IndiGo strengthens its role in shaping India as a global aviation hub while offering travelers affordable and seamless choices.
