IndiGo Tackles Baggage & Weather Issues With Efficiency, Reinforcing Its Commitment To Timely Travel

IndiGo proved its dedication to efficient air travel by quickly addressing two major disruptions. The airline resolved a baggage system malfunction at Mumbai’s Terminal 2 and weather-related delays in Bengaluru. Their swift response minimized disruptions and ensured on-time operations.

A technical issue at Mumbai’s Terminal 2 caused delays in check-in and baggage collection. IndiGo’s ground teams worked quickly with airport authorities to resolve the problem. Despite the setback, the airline’s services remained largely unaffected.

In Bengaluru, dense fog affected flights at Kempegowda International Airport. IndiGo immediately informed passengers about potential delays. They encouraged travelers to check their flight status via official channels, ensuring a safe operation despite the adverse conditions.

IndiGo’s operations remained consistent, even during the busy holiday season. The airline maintained over 2,100 daily flights, meeting on-time performance targets while carrying millions of passengers across 138 destinations.

IndiGo is preparing to expand its international operations with the Airbus A321XLR. This new aircraft will boost capacity on long-haul routes, starting with direct flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Athens in January 2026. As IndiGo grows its fleet, its commitment to reliable air travel strengthens.
