JetBlue Cuts Service to Seven Airports, Including Minneapolis-St. Paul and Boston Logan

JetBlue Airways is scaling back its operations, announcing the discontinuation of service to seven airports, including Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). The airline cited “ongoing operational challenges” as the reason for the cuts.

The decision will affect flights to and from the following airports:

MSP: Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport
BOS: Boston Logan International Airport
BUF: Buffalo Niagara International Airport
ROC: Greater Rochester International Airport
PWM: Portland International Jetport
SBN: South Bend International Airport
FLL: Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

The airline has not yet disclosed the specific dates for the service terminations. However, JetBlue has assured affected passengers that they will be contacted directly regarding their bookings.

The airline’s decision comes amidst a period of industry-wide challenges, including staffing shortages and rising fuel costs. JetBlue has been actively adjusting its network in recent months, focusing on its core markets and streamlining operations.

Passengers who have booked flights to or from the affected airports are advised to check their booking status and contact JetBlue customer service for further information.
