KLM Now Flying Portland Routes: Delta Steps Aside This Winter!


KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has announced its winter schedule, running until March 2025, featuring significant updates to its North American routes. Notably, KLM will now operate flights to Portland International Airport (PDX), previously managed by Delta Air Lines. This move underscores KLM’s strategy to strengthen its U.S. presence.

This season, KLM will serve 155 destinations, including 89 in Europe and 66 beyond. It has introduced the Premium Comfort class on its Boeing 777 and 787 fleets, offering enhanced legroom and unique catering options. The airline will also add the Airbus A321neo to its fleet for short-haul European routes.

In North America, KLM will fly to 19 destinations, increasing weekly flights to San Francisco from five to daily and offering four to five flights per week to Edmonton. KLM’s U.S. network includes double daily flights to Atlanta and New York JFK, showcasing its commitment to serving travelers.

Additionally, KLM will enhance its Caribbean and African routes, adding flights to key destinations. In South America, daily flights will continue to Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Panama, with routes to Costa Rica merging into one itinerary after runway work.
