Korean Air Expands Winter Routes—Explore New Exciting Destinations!


Korean Air is set for a significant winter expansion, increasing flights to popular destinations in Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America. This move responds to rising travel demand, offering both leisure and business travelers enhanced international connectivity.

Beginning October 20, 2024, Korean Air will boost its service on the Seoul Incheon-Bali route to twice daily. Currently, this route operates 11 times a week. The airline will use Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners to support this increase. These aircraft promise improved comfort for long-haul travelers. The expanded service will last until March 27, 2025, covering the entire winter season.

Korean Air will also increase flights on the Seoul Incheon-Nha Trang route starting October 27, 2024. This route will transition to a twice-daily service. Additionally, the Seoul Incheon-Phu Quoc route will shift to twice-daily flights starting December 15, 2024. This change meets the growing interest in these vibrant Southeast Asian locations.

Moreover, the airline is enhancing its schedule to key North American and European cities. From October 27, 2024, the Seoul Incheon-Las Vegas route will change from five weekly flights to a daily service. Likewise, the Seoul Incheon-Vancouver route will increase to 11 flights per week. It plans to shift to twice-daily service starting December 1, 2024.

European travelers will benefit as well. The Seoul Incheon-Madrid route will expand to four weekly flights from October 27, providing more flexible options for travel.

Closer to home, Korean Air is boosting operations in Kagoshima and Taichung. The airline plans to increase the Seoul Incheon-Kagoshima route to daily service during winter, up from its current three to five weekly flights. Similarly, the Seoul Incheon-Taichung route will increase from four to seven flights per week, ensuring daily service to meet growing demand.

Due to these adjustments, Korean Air expects its international network capacity to match pre-pandemic levels this winter. This increase in frequency aims to provide passengers with a broader range of travel options. The airline remains committed to meeting seasonal demand while ensuring high service standards.
